How We Protect Collector Information

Every vehicle profile has visibility settings that you control. You can make a vehicle visible to the public network, limit it, or keep it private. Information you mark private is stored with your account but is not shown on public profiles or placards.

You can keep your identity private. Non-connected visitors see only "Private Collector" rather than your full name. Your full identity is revealed only when you and another collector have an active connection.

Your account email address and mobile number are used to create and secure your account. They are not displayed on placards or public vehicle profiles.

The information returned to public visitors does not include account email addresses, mobile numbers, session or authentication tokens, or internal owner-user identifiers. Public responses are limited to the vehicle information the owner has chosen to make visible.

A placard displays the vehicle information you choose to make visible and a QR code that links to the public vehicle profile. No owner contact information appears on the placard.

You can edit or remove individual vehicle profiles at any time through your dashboard. Removing a profile takes it off public surfaces.

Quietly Offered does not sell personal or vehicle information.

Selected service providers process information only to help operate the service — for hosting, SMS authentication, email delivery, usage analytics, image processing, and approximate QR-scan geolocation. We do not sell information to these providers. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.
