Story
1984 Carrera Targa shell, clean Carfax, no accidents, purchased in 1999 with 44,000 original miles. All original 1989 Porsche Speedster parts: , roof, front fenders, F&R bumpers,carpets & rear fairing plus 1994 Speedster doors and windshield were purchased locally. Full rear Turbo quarters were welded into place and the interior chassis was reinforced with steel side panels. 930 torsion tube extensions, rear trailing arms and coil over lowered suspension were installed along with Turbo front suspension and brakes. A 375 HP stage 1 Promotive 3.2 engine and G50 transmission/hydraulic clutch/PP and flywheel were mated to the motor for optimum performance and handling. Engine tuned Exhaust fitted to the power train along with 17" Fiske wheels and Continental Pro Contac Extreme Sport tires. A custom matched Graphite gray interior includes full powered/heated Turbo seats, 930S console, A/C, power windows, GT door pulls, Blaupunkt stereo, keyed door locks and alarm, remote radar detector, logo rear carpets, storage boxes and crested rugs. Instruments refaced in silver including new Porsche Speedometer/odometer. Fully customized front storage area with Porsche logo crest. Numerous Porsche Concours wins and displays. Chosen for October 2026 Boardwalk Reunion Outlaw display. Featured in Excellence Magazine May 2012 twenty five year anniversary edition, issue # 200 "Built from Scratch". Head turning rarity with unrivaled handling and performance. A spectacular car to show and drive.
Service History
Custom built Outlaw 1989 Turbo Speedster bodied Porsche. Top replaced with Factory Haarz blue, 4 wheel alignment and Conti Pro Extreme Contact tires. Front transmission seal 500 miles ago, Rothsport one way oil valve, New fuel pump, master cylinder, Air boot, shifter bushings, braided fuel line and injector seals 400 miles ago. No leaks, smoke or misfires. 11,960 miles on new odometer.
