Frederick Simeone spent decades as a neurosurgeon in Philadelphia. He also spent those same decades acquiring racing cars — not as investments, not as status objects, but as historical documents. His criterion was specific and uncompromising: provenance. Every car in the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum carries documented racing history. No barn finds restored to someone's imagination of what they might have looked like. No cars re-bodied into more desirable configurations. What you see here is what happened.

The collection of approximately 65 vehicles spans more than a century of sports car racing and is curated with the kind of focus that larger institutions rarely achieve. The 1967 Ferrari 330 P4 is one of three surviving examples of the car that finished 1-2-3 at Daytona in 1967 — one of Ferrari's definitive defeats of Ford, and one of the most dramatic finishes in endurance racing history. The 1970 Porsche 917K is the car that won Le Mans and ended an era. These are presented in original racing condition: no concours preparation, no refreshed paintwork.

Demo Days, held on specific Saturdays, are among the most unusual experiences in American automotive culture. Selected cars are started, driven, and demonstrated in the museum's rear demonstration area — not at speed, but with throttle and exhaust note and the specific smell of fifty-year-old racing fuel that no static display can communicate. The Simeone does not draw huge crowds. It is not designed to. It is designed for people who understand what they are looking at, and it rewards that understanding completely.
